The Special Rapporteur and other special procedures sent a communication to the Government of Montenegro concerning the judicial proceedings against civil society activist, academic and columnist Mr. Boban Batrićević. Special Procedures express concern that despite requests from civil society, Mr. Batrićević’s hearing was held with a limited number of observers permitted to attend, monitor and report on the legal proceedings.
